Here at Petite Street we endeavour to ensure that all children and adults have a positive and enjoyable experience. We kindly ask that you follow these rules of play to ensure this happens.


  • While Role Play World and its employees attempt to ensure the complete safety of our visitors it is the responsibility of parents/guardians to supervise and accompany children on the site.

  • The parents /guardians must:

    • Remain within the building/ courtyard at all times. Observe the child/children to ensure they are capable of using the play equipment safely.

    • Explain these rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour.

    • Know where their child is and makes sure the child knows where they are at all times.

  • Parents/guardians know their child’s capabilities and behaviour best and so should ensure an appropriate level of supervision to reflect this.

  • All children may use the facility when accompanied by a responsible adult.

  • Children remain the responsibility of the parents/guardians at all times.

  • Strictly Smoking including e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited within and outside the building.

  • To avoid disappointment we encourage you to pre-book to guarantee a place. We do take walk-ins if there is space available, but you run the risk of being turned away if we are at full capacity for the session.

  • CCTV is in operation inside and outside the premises. This is recorded for the Safety of everyone.

  • Strictly no chewing gum on the premises.

  • Children and adults must take off shoes and wear socks in the play area. Socks can be purchased from the counter.

  • Jewellery is worn at your own risk.

  • Children wearing glasses should take particular care.

  • Manager reserve the right to refuse entry.

  • If in the case of serve or adverse weather we reserve the right to close the outdoor area.

  • Parents/guardians must ensure that children do not become over heated.

  • The management reserve the right to restrict play sessions.

  • Abusive, aggressive or any behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards staff and/or management or other members of the public, from either children or adults, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The management reserves the right to enforce total bans.

  • Children who are unwell should not use Petite Street for 48 hours after illness.

  • All personal items such as money should be left with parents/carers. Petite Street cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings.

  • Petite Street encourages children to play, run free and explore in a safe and stimulating environment as such, there are inherent risks that are always associated with children playing and having fun together. These include children being exposed to moderate physical activity, tripping and bumping into fixed objects and other children.

  • No food or drink should be taken into the play area.

  • For health and safety reasons, in the unlikely event of an accident or injury occurring, please immediately report it to a member of staff.

  • Prams & buggies are NOT permitted inside the play centre.

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • The management has taken every reasonable step to control these risks through the design, maintenance and operation of this facility. However, it is impossible to eliminate such risks completely whilst providing a stimulating environment and parents/guardians must recognise and accept this risk.
